The gala ceremony will find its home at the venerable Gonio Fortress, an emblematic historical monument that stands as one of Georgia’s most significant landmarks. This 2,000-year-old structure, an exemplar of Roman architecture, is globally acclaimed for its impeccable preservation.”

As the summer unfolds, voting will culminate on August 20, setting the stage for the grand event on September 29. Eleven cities are competing to be awarded Europe’s Leading Emerging Tourism Destination, namely: Batumi, Braga, Bydgoszcz, Graz, Huesca La Magia, Ljubljana, Maribor, Matera, Mljet, Sofia, and Vilnius.
