On Saturday, October 29, 2011, disturbances were limited with 87% of scheduled flights operating. More than 120,000 passengers were transported.
For Sunday, October 30, 2011, as of 6:00 p.m., Air France has been able to operate 88% of its flights, above the 80% forecast. No flights were canceled at the last minute. For the day, 115,000 passengers will have been transported, close to the number of passengers typically transported for a similar day.
For Monday, October 31, 2011, Air France projects that at least 85% of its flights will operate.
The company remains fully committed to limiting inconvenience to its customers and to informing them as quickly as possible regarding changes to flight schedules.
Air France renews its apologies to its customers and expresses its appreciation to team members who have made every effort to provide scheduled service to passengers. The company is fully mobilized to try to minimize the inconvenience to customers and to provide up-to-date information as quickly as possible.
The company has done everything possible to best organize its flight schedule according to the level of participation in the strike by cabin crews, who are not required to notify the company of their intentions. Delays and some last-minute cancellations of flights are possible.
