The FINANCIAL — Elior has scooped a massive deal worth about £35m to provide catering and hospitality services at all the sites of Everything Everywhere, the joint venture between telecom networks T-Mobile and Orange.
The contract award comes 17 months after BaxterStorey snaffled a one-year deal with T-Mobile from long-term incumbents CH&Co, while Elior had recently won the Orange business.
At the time it was widely speculated that the merged phone businesses would ultimately look to source their catering from a single supplier.
The five-year deal will see Elior operate the staff restaurants, coffee bars and hospitality for about 9,000 Everything Everywhere employees, Caterer and Hotelkeeper has learned.
It is understood that the French caterer's plan to provide a bespoke regional offer at each of the 15 sites nationwide, including head office and all call centres, as well an emphasis on health and well-being, were key drivers in the decision to award it the contract.
The consolidated contract is expected to start early December.
