The FINANCIAL — Eden Hotel Collection has picked up its second property from in-administration Von Essen, after it sealed a deal to buy the Mount Somerset hotel and spa near Taunton off a guide price of £3m.
Earlier this month, the company acquired the Greenaway hotel and spa in Cheltenham.
The acquisition of the Mount Somerset, a Georgian country house hotel set in four acres of grounds, means that Eden now has seven properties and two spas in its collection.
Other properties it owns include: Michelin-starred Mallory Court in Leamington Spa; Buckland Tout-Saints in Devon; the Kings Hotel in Chipping Campden; the Arden Hotel in Stratford-upon-Avon; and Brockencote Hall hotel in Worcestershire.
