The FINANCIAL — As of September 14, agrarians harvested 38.112 mln tonnes of grains and pulses throughout the areas of 10.559 mln ha, or 72% of the plan. The average yield totaled 3.61 t/ha, reported the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine.
In particular, Ukraine harvested corn throughout 139 thsd ha (3%), the produced volumes reached 584 thsd tonnes, with the yield of 4.21 t/ha, according to APK-Inform.
Ukrainian agrarians harvested buckwheat throughout 97 thsd ha (73%). The production volumes totaled 116 thsd tonnes, with the yield of 1.2 t/ha. Also, agrarians harvested 189 thsd tonnes of millet throughout 94 thsd ha (88%), with the yield of 2 t/ha.
Also, agrarians continued providing the mass harvesting campaign of sunflower seed. As of the reporting date, Ukraine harvested 2.546 mln tonnes of the oilseed throughout 1.298 mln ha (26%). The average yield totaled 1.96 t/ha.
Ukraine already produced 702 thsd tonnes of soybeans. The harvested areas reached 412 thsd ha (19%), with the yield of 1.7 t/ha.
As of the reporting date, agricultural producers planted winter grains throughout 591 thsd ha (8%), including 554 thsd ha of winter wheat and triticale, 29 thsd ha of winter rye, 8 thsd ha of winter barley. In addition, agrarians planted winter rapeseed throughout 502 thsd ha (61%).
