The FINANCIAL — In January-March period of 2015, the Ukrainian sea ports processed over 3.83 mln tonnes of liquid bulk cargoes, including 1.03 mln tonnes of vegetable oils, an increase of 6.6% compared with the same period in 2014, infromed the State Enterprise Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority on April 20.
In particular, state stevedoring companies processed 41.61 thsd tonnes of vegetable oils at berths of Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (down 11.7% compared with January-March of 2014), private stevedoring companies at berths of Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority – 732.14 thsd tonnes (up 30.4%), stevedoring companies at their own berths – 254.25 thsd tonnes (down 28.5%), according to APK Inform-Agency.
According to the announcement, in the reporting period Sea Commercial Port of Illichivsk shipped 430.9 thsd tonnes of veg oils, up 37.7% compared with the same period in the previous year. Also, Nikolaev Sea Trade Port shipped 276.78 thsd tonnes of veg oils (down 22.9%), Sea Commercial Port of Yuzhny – 259.5 thsd tonnes (up 11.4%), Mariupol Port – 29.3 thsd tonnes (up 5.1%), Odessa Sea Commercial Port – 19.21 thsd tonnes (up 201.1%), Izmail Port – 12.3 thsd tonnes.
